Waterbeach is the village with a barracks that became a plan. Cambridge Research Park sits next to it. Burwell, Bottisham, the Swaffhams, Lode, Anglesey Abbey, Horningsea, Landbeach, Stow cum Quy — the north-east villages, plus a science park, plus a National Trust house.
Route notes
A14 to the Newmarket Road / Quy end, or A10 to Waterbeach. The Research Park is a gate. Anglesey Abbey has a visitor car park with hours. Burwell is a town-village with a lode. Waterbeach station is a useful pin. One of the fen villages is a single syllable on the place list; if that is you, use the name as written there. Far. M11 then A14, or M11 then A10.
