Northstowe is the new town that is still arriving. Histon and Impington are the old pair. Cottenham, Longstanton, Oakington, Willingham, Over, Swavesey, Fen Drayton, Rampton, Milton and the Milton park-and-ride — the fen edge north of Cambridge.
Route notes
A14 to Histon / Milton, or the guided-busway corridor. Milton P&R is honest standing. Northstowe is new roads and a sat-nav that lags. Histon is a village with a high street. Cottenham is a long village. Swavesey and Fen Drayton sit on the A14's north side. Say the new town if it is the new town. 'North of Cambridge' is how we end up in the wrong village among ten.
