Ford Dagenham is still a place even when the shifts are not what they were. Becontree and Dagenham Dock share the district: housing, the A13, and the industrial waterfront.
Route notes
A13 is the spine. Dagenham Dock is HGV, yards, and surfaces that eat cars. Becontree is the estate — long roads, plenty of kerbs. If you are on the Ford estate, we need a gate that expects a visitor, not a description of a chimney. This is not a five-minute hop from Loughton, but it is not the other side of the county either.
