Rainham in Essex — not the other one. Beam Park is the new name on the marsh. South Hornchurch and Wennington are the older ones. The A13 runs through it and the river sits just south.
Route notes
A13. Rainham town is a high street and a station. Beam Park is new roads that sat-nav still guesses. Wennington is the village toward the marshes; after that you are in RSPB land and the road runs out of ambition. If you are in a new-build car park, send the development name. 'Rainham' covers too much mud.
