Beckton was docks. Now it is retail parks, the A13, Cyprus, East Ham, Upton Park and Plashet. Gallions is the shopping park at the end of the DLR. The river is right there and you still cannot see it from most of the housing.
Route notes
A13 is the honest road from our side. Beckton Retail Park is easy standing. East Ham High Street is not. Upton Park on a match day at the old ground's neighbourhood is still a crush even though the team moved. If you are at Gallions, say the shopping park — it is not the DLR station, and the two are a walk apart when you have a flat.
