Stratford is a station pretending to be a town. Maryland is the street that leads into it. West Ham is the older name people still use when they mean the other side of the A112.
Route notes
A12 or A118. Stratford station is several stations stacked; say which car park or which side of the Broadway. Maryland is quicker to stand in than the station forecourt. West Ham is residential and the Greenway — fine to work, slow to approach if a match is on at the London Stadium next door in E20.
