Walthamstow still has a market. The Wetlands are the quiet side of the same district. Blackhorse Road, Higham Hill, St James Street and Walthamstow Central are the names people actually say on the phone.
Route notes
A104 down through the forest, then the A112. The market streets are not a place to jack a car at noon on a Saturday. Blackhorse Road is industrial-ish and easier. The Wetlands car park is a real location — say that, not 'near the reservoirs'. Higham Hill is hills and tight terraces; we take the long way round rather than a three-point turn in your street.
