Whipps Cross Hospital backs onto Wanstead Flats. Leytonstone, Snaresbrook, Wanstead and Cann Hall fill the rest. A lot of the work is hospital car parks and the A12 that cuts the district in half.
Route notes
A12 is the fast lie. Whipps Cross is a maze of barriers and visitor parking that was not designed for a van with stock. Wanstead Flats is open and windy and obvious. Leytonstone High Road is buses and a contraflow you will sit in if you try to be clever. Snaresbrook is calmer. Tell us which side of the A12 you are on before we commit to a junction.
