Hackney Wick still looks like yards even when it is flats. Homerton, Homerton Hospital, Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes and South Hackney share the district with that old industrial end.
Route notes
A12 to the Wick, or through Victoria Park from the north. Homerton Hospital is a known barrier-and-bay job. The Wick is cobbles, film units, and streets that sat-nav still thinks are yards. Victoria Park's car parks have hours. The Marshes are grass and event days — if it is a race morning, say so or we will be sitting behind a marshal.
