Close to the yard
RM4
Passingford Bridge is a river crossing people treat like a rat-run. Abridge, Stapleford Abbotts, Stapleford Tawney, Navestock, Lambourne End, Havering-atte-Bower and Stapleford Aerodrome — this is the rural north of Havering, and it is closer to our yard than Romford is.
Route notes
A113 from Loughton through Abridge is the natural road. We know it. The aerodrome has a real gate and a real 'you cannot come in' if nobody is expecting a van. Havering-atte-Bower is a hill village with a view and no pavement worth standing on. Navestock is lanes. If you are in a field entrance, say so before we bring a van that wanted tarmac.
