Sudbury is the Suffolk town on the Stour. Long Melford, Lavenham, Clare, Cavendish, Glemsford, Great Cornard, Acton, Bulmer — wool towns and a river. This is the far edge of what we cover, and it is not Essex even if the van started in Loughton.
Route notes
A120 to Braintree then the A131, or up through Halstead. Sudbury has a one-way system and a meadow. Long Melford is a long high street, as advertised. Lavenham is a tourist pinch; do not try to occupy the market square. Clare is a castle and a country park. We will come. We will not pretend this is a Loughton job with a longer number. It is a different county and a different last mile.
