Basildon was planned around roundabouts. Cranes Farm Road, Pipps Hill, Eastgate, Festival Leisure Park and Fryerns are the names that actually help. The town centre is Eastgate. The industrial is Cranes Farm. They are not the same call.
Route notes
A127 or A13. Festival Leisure Park is a night-time car park with a different crowd to Eastgate's multi-storey. Cranes Farm is units and HGV. Pipps Hill is retail. If you say 'Basildon' we will ask which of those. We come down the A127 from the north-west. There is no Basildon yard of ours.
