Stanway is the west of Colchester and Tollgate is the retail park that behaves like a town centre. Lexden, Prettygate and the Zoo are the other names. The Zoo is a landmark with a car park process of its own.
Route notes
A12 to the Stanway / Tollgate exits — this is the easy Colchester arrival from our side. Tollgate is bays. Lexden is a road and a suburb. The Zoo is a weekend different to a Tuesday. Prettygate is housing. If you meant the town centre, that is CO1. Stanway is a different last mile and a better one to stand in.
