CM8
Witham is the town on the Great Eastern and the old A12. Silver End, Rivenhall, White Notley, Wickham Bishops and Great Braxted sit off it. Silver End still looks like a factory village because it was one.
Route notes
A12 to Witham. The station and the high street are the two magnets. Newlands / the retail off the A12 is easier standing than the town centre. Wickham Bishops is a hill village south toward Maldon. If you are in Silver End, the wide estate roads are actually useful. We are coming from the A12, not from Colchester.
