Ingatestone sits on the A12 and the Great Eastern. Ingatestone Hall, Margaretting, Fryerning, Stock, Blackmore and Nine Ashes are the quieter names. The dual carriageway does the blowouts. The villages do the kerbs.
Route notes
A12, and we mean the A12, not a scenic detour through the Rodings. Margaretting is a slip. Stock is a village with a square that is not a car park. Blackmore is further into the lanes. If you are on the A12, get to a slip or a services-adjacent road. We will not jack a car in lane two of a 70.
